Firebird Fundraising Night for Food Now

The Coachella Valley Firebirds Chuck-a-Puck is a great interactive game and fundraiser held during the second intermission of home hockey games at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert. Fans purchase numbered foam pucks and toss them onto the ice, aiming for center-ice targets to win cash or prizes while supporting local charities.

    • Purchase Pucks: Fans buy numbered foam pucks or packages from designated tables or charity volunteers around the concourse before or during the game.
    • The Toss: During the second intermission, the arena signals the crowd, and fans “chuck” their pucks from the stands toward target circles or center-ice markers.
    • Winning: Fans wins prizes supplied by the Firebirds and nonprofits receive 100% of the proceeds from selling the pucks PLUS $5 of each game ticket sold through the nonprofits designated ticket link.
